The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) and 20 other Federal Government agencies are set to integrate into the Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform and the Federal Treasury e-Receipt system as part of efforts to strengthen transparency and accountability in government finances.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEPZA, Dr. Olufemi Ogunyemi, disclosed this after a meeting in Abuja between the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, and chief executives of the affected agencies.
The platform, approved by the Federal Executive Council, is designed to curb financial leakages, enhance revenue monitoring, and improve transparency in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the Minister, 31 Ministries, Departments and Agencies have already been integrated into the system, while 21 additional agencies, including NEPZA, are expected to come on board as government works toward achieving full financial probity before the end of the year.
Dr. Ogunyemi assured that NEPZA is on course for full compliance, noting that the Authority’s robust digital financial management system positions it well for seamless integration into the platform.
