The Business Women of Influence for Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) has appointed Honourable Mrs. Geraldine Etuk as an Ambassador of the organisation, further strengthening its leadership network and commitment to advancing women’s empowerment and inclusive development.
Hon. Mrs. Etuk, who currently serves as the 1st Vice President of the National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS), Nigeria, is a respected mobiliser and advocate with extensive experience in women-focused leadership and community development.
An illustrious daughter of Akwa Ibom State, her appointment is expected to add valuable leadership experience, influence and strategic capacity to the BWI-RHA structure in the state.
With her wealth of experience in women’s affairs and societal development, the new Ambassador is expected to support the organisation’s vision of creating greater opportunities for women, strengthening economic participation and promoting meaningful contributions by women to national development.
The appointment also reflects the growing profile of BWI-RHA under the leadership of its Director General and National Convener, Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole, whose vision has continued to position the organisation as a platform for women’s leadership, economic empowerment, networking and social impact.
Dr. Oyewole has consistently championed the mobilisation of accomplished women across different sectors, creating a network through which women can collaborate, build influence, promote enterprise and contribute to the development of their communities and the nation.
The organisation expressed confidence that Hon. Mrs. Etuk’s appointment will further strengthen BWI-RHA’s presence and impact in Akwa Ibom State while advancing its broader agenda of empowering women and building a stronger network of women of influence.
Congratulating the new Ambassador, BWI-RHA described her appointment as an opportunity to deepen the organisation’s commitment to women’s leadership and societal transformation.
Hon. Mrs. Geraldine Etuk was wished success as she assumes her new responsibility, with expectations that her experience and leadership capacity will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the BWI-RHA Akwa Ibom State Chapter.
