The Business Women of Influence – Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) has strengthened its leadership and partnership network in the Federal Capital Territory with a courtesy visit to Princess Hauwa Tanimu Aduda, during which she was formally appointed FCT Matron of BWI-RHA.

In a further recognition of the Aduda family’s commitment to leadership, service and community development, her husband, Senator Tanimu Aduda, was also appointed FCT Patron of the organisation.

The courtesy visit, which brought together members of the BWI-RHA leadership, provided an opportunity for the organisation to formally introduce its vision and reaffirm its commitment to promoting women’s empowerment, leadership development, entrepreneurship and meaningful participation of women in nation-building.

The delegation was led by Ms. Evelyn Onyilo, Director of Media and Publicity, BWI-RHA, whose leadership underscored the organisation’s strategic approach to strengthening visibility, partnerships and institutional relationships in the FCT.

During the visit, Mrs. Hauwa Tanimu Aduda expressed gratitude to the BWI-RHA FCT members for the courtesy call and the honour bestowed on her and Senator Philip Aduda as Matron and Patron respectively.

She assured the delegation of her cooperation and support for the organisation’s programmes and initiatives, particularly its efforts to empower Nigerian women and create opportunities for them to contribute meaningfully to national development.

Mrs. Aduda also promised to convey the messages of solidarity and goodwill from the BWI-RHA FCT members to her husband, while expressing appreciation for the confidence reposed in them by the organisation.

Earlier, members of the delegation expressed appreciation to Princess Hauwa Tanimu Aduda and Senator Tanimu Aduda for their warm reception and willingness to identify with the vision of BWI-RHA.

The organisation described the appointments as a significant addition to its leadership structure, expressing confidence that the experience, wisdom and networks of the newly appointed FCT Matron and Patron would contribute meaningfully to its programmes and initiatives.

BWI-RHA is committed to creating platforms that enable women to thrive as entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders and agents of positive change. The organisation’s renewed focus on women’s leadership is anchored on collaboration, mentorship, capacity building and the creation of opportunities for women to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The appointment of Princess Hauwa Tanimu Aduda as FCT Matron and Senator Tanimu Aduda as FCT Patron therefore marks another step in the organisation’s efforts to build a strong network of influential women and supportive stakeholders capable of advancing its agenda.

The FCT Coordinator 1, Ziyak Patience Yakubu, expressed appreciation on behalf of the group for the hospitality extended to the delegation and conveyed BWI-RHA’s anticipation of a fruitful relationship with the Aduda family.
