The General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Martin Zarybnicky, has reaffirmed the hotel’s reputation as Nigeria’s leading destination for conferences, meetings, events, and leisure hospitality, while reiterating its commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction and global service standards.
Zarybnicky made the remarks during the 2027 Press Week Lecture and Awards Ceremony organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists FCT Council in Abuja. He was represented at the event by the hotel’s Communications and Marketing Manager, Ijeoma Cassandra Osuji.
Speaking at the ceremony, he said Transcorp Hilton Abuja has continued to maintain its position as the preferred hub for major conferences, corporate meetings, high-profile events, and leisure stays through consistent delivery of quality hospitality services.
“Transcorp Hilton Abuja remains the top destination and host for meetings, conferences, events and leisure stays, while always prioritising guest satisfaction above all,” he stated.
He noted that the hotel remains guided by the core Hilton values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency in delivering world-class experiences to guests and partners.
Zarybnicky also congratulated the NUJ FCT Council on the successful hosting of the Press Week, describing the theme, “Election: Defending Democracy in the Era of Disinformation,” as timely, thought-provoking, and crucial to strengthening democratic values in Nigeria.
According to him, the media plays a vital role in safeguarding truth, accountability, and public trust, particularly in an era characterised by the rapid spread of misinformation and digital disinformation.
“In an age where information travels faster than ever, the role of the media as custodians of truth, accountability and democratic values cannot be overstated,” he said.
He further commended the Nigeria Union of Journalists FCT Council for providing a platform that promotes professionalism, ethical journalism, and excellence within the media industry.
The hotel executive added that Transcorp Hilton Abuja was proud to once again host the prestigious gathering and pledged the organisation’s continued support in fostering stronger media relations and promoting impactful national conversations.
“As you honour distinguished professionals and reflect on the evolving media landscape, we join you in the celebration while wishing you a very successful and inspiring Press Week,” he added.
